Sustainable Styles We Love Right Now

If you’re looking to introduce some more ethical styles to your wardrobe this year then call off the search. Here at OFFCUTS we stock a great range of eco-friendly footwear brands, so you can look as good as ever whilst being kinder to our amazing planet.

We’ve rounded up five of our favourite styles that use at least 25% sustainable materials, and better yet they’re all in stock right now! Click on the photos below to shop each pair.

1. Mens Timberland Field Trekker Trainers
Stylish, comfortable and made from eco-friendly materials, these trekker style trainers from Timberland tick all the boxes when it comes to sustainable footwear. They are made with premium Better Leather from a sustainable tannery rated Silver for its water, energy, and waste management practices, and ReBOTL™ fabric containing at least 50% recycled plastic.

2. Blowfish Malibu Balla4Earth Sandals
An eco-friendly update of their ever popular Balla sandal, 'Balla4Earth' is Blowfish Malibu's first fully sustainable footwear style. The Balla4Earth sandals are made from a 100% recycled material upper, along with classic features like zip fastening, a comfortable cushioned insole and a slight wedge.

3. Veja V10 White Red Navy Trainers

Veja have become every style-seeker's go-to brand for sustainable shoes, and their simple yet sporty silhouettes have been spotted on some of the biggest celebs like Meghan Markle, Eddie Redmayne and Emma Watson (to name a few). The classic V10 sneakers are partly made from recycled polyester materials and the sole is made of wild rubber from the Amazonian forest (24%).

4. Arizona Love Trekky Bandana Sandals

If it's a pair of fun and colourful sandals you're looking for then we've got you covered. Each pair of these Arizona Love sandals are made from a 100% cotton or recycled material bandana. All upper parts of the Trekky sandals are made from recycled plastic bottles (REPEVE label) and they deliberately don't come in a box in order to reduce packaging and minimize ecological footprint on the environment.

5. Toms Alpargata Cupsole Slip-Ons

The classic Toms espadrilles have been reimagined with a thicker rubber cupsole. The upper materials include eco-fibers like jute, linen and hemp, which all use fewer chemicals and less water than traditional fibers to grow. Toms packaging is also 100% sourced from sustainably managed forests to ensure it’s made with at least 80% recycled materials.
